In order to receive the Neag School of Education, University of Connecticut institutional recommendation for certification in Connecticut (or other states), candidates must complete all degree and program requirements, including passing the licensure tests required for Connecticut certification.

Certification in Other States
Information for Out-of-State Applicants (NASDTEC) – Connecticut has reciprocity with other states. However, candidates may need to meet additional requirements (e.g., they may require a different licensure test).
